CPL Ceilings & Partitions Ltd were commissioned to provide internal fitout services & also SFS Steel Framing System to the external perimeter of the new Crowne Works project, working closely with Graham’s to bring this exciting residential build to completion.

GRAHAM’s Construction has been contracted under a Pre-Construction Service Agreement to construct and design one, two and three bedroom apartments covering 138,000 sq. ft of space. This seven storey Build to Rent scheme will have Europa Capital as its developer, Xian Developments as the development managers, and it will feature two retail units on the ground floor with a total area of 3,700 sq. ft. Additionally, there will be 5,900 sq. ft of flexible amenity space comprising gym facilities, co-working areas, private dining and concierge services.

The development is located on Hanley Street in the Gun Quarter of Birmingham city. It is situated near the Birmingham Snow Hill train station as well as the city’s Colmore Business District and entertainment district. Residents can enjoy panoramic views of Birmingham’s skyline from the private residents’ roof terrace. The three duplex apartments also have their own individual terraces with access to these views. The installation of rooftop solar panels will allow for green energy consumption by residents which may aid in achieving an EPC rating of B and a BREEAM Excellent rating for completed commercial units..

CPL’s work included partitioning, drylining, ceilings, plastering and also SFS metsec walls. Working closely with Graham Construction the program was tight due to unforeseen site delays but CPL are working closely with the site team to accelerate areas where possible and bring the project to completion on time and on budget.
